Brett Anders

Brett M. Anders is a principal at the Berkeley Heights, New Jersey office of Jackson Lewis P.C. and serves as the Office Litigation Manager. In that role, Brett oversees the office’s dynamic litigation practice, which includes 30+ litigators representing management in complex workplace law matters. Brett also is a member of the Firm’s Advisory Committee and is a Co-Chair of the Firm’s Life Sciences Industry Group. With a robust practice focused on both counseling and litigation, Brett is a highly regarded counselor helping clients navigate the intricacies of employment law.

As a seasoned litigator, Brett has successfully represented employers in a wide array of employment disputes, including discrimination, wrongful termination, and retaliation cases. His litigation experience extends to both state and federal courts, as well as to agencies such as the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New Jersey Department of Labor, and the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights.

Brett’s leadership is also evident in his role as a trusted advisor to clients. He provides comprehensive advice on developments in employment law, discipline and termination decisions, and managing leave and accommodation issues. In addition to his advisory work, Brett regularly conducts training programs on perennial employment issues, such as performance management and sexual harassment prevention.

Recognized as an authority on e-discovery, Brett’s deep understanding of technology’s intersection with employment law makes him a sought-after speaker and lecturer on these topics.

Brett is deeply committed to service and the development of attorneys. In 2023-2024, Brett served as the President of the Sidney Reitman Labor & Employment Inn of Court. Additionally, he dedicates his personal time to serving as the President of the Basking Ridge High School Ski Team, combining his passion for community service with his love for the sport.
